CLUB HISTORY ..
The Club has progressed a long way since it's inaugural meeting in November 1985, when local lads Larry Carter (pictured left) and Chris Herring (pictured right) decided to organise a 'get together' in the local pub and invite Steve Webster along for a chat.
The aim was to raise some cash to assist local riders, and a fledgling committee was inaugurated to do just that.
The aim of the club is still the same today as it was twenty years ago, and during that time we have raised many tens of thousands of pounds to assist the up and coming local riders.
The club holds monthly social evenings in an informal atmosphere, with distinguished guests from the Road Racing world.
The Club also hosts a major fund raising night annually, usually in July, and is extremely grateful for the support given by the stars, in particular the 'Texas Tornado' - Colin Edwards. 'Our friend' Colin (pictured centre) has now appeared four times at NYRRSC.
